Welcome To Our Luxury Gites.
Welcome to Fon du Bourg - our collection of three luxuriously appointed gites nestling in the heart of the beautiful and tranquil French countryside.
Sometimes we all need a break from the frenetic pace of... well, life.
Fon du Bourg offers you an oasis of calm where you can relax and unwind; whether that's simply lying by your swimming pool, playing badminton with your children or taking in the local sites on a day out in the fabulous countryside of Lot et Garonne and nearby Dordogne.
Our three gites offer different things - we have something for everyone.
The Farmhouse is a spectacular four bedroom property with two double rooms (one of which is en suite) and two twins. Ideal for families looking to reconnect and spend quality time together.
The Chai is a beautifully quirky three bedroom cottage which can be configured with one double (en suite) and two twin rooms or two doubles and a twin. It's a real characterful home with stone walls and the remains of the ancient prune drying ovens still visible...
The main pool can only be described as a beautiful 6m x 13m swimming pool. Large enough to have private areas, the south facing sun deck enjoys magnificent views over the valley and with a pool house equipped with fridge and loo - you can lose yourself in relaxation for the whole day.
Our third property is the one bedroom Pigeonnier - a lovely, romantic home with it's private, secluded pool, sun terrace and the mezzanine made just for two. Ideal for honeymooners and couples, we love our little 'Pidge'.
The three properties can be rented separately but if you have a larger party the Farmhouse and Chai can be connected via a walkway - you can be together whilst retaining that sense of privacy.
Set in the beautiful Lot et Garonne countryside we are ideally located to explore the Bastides with at least six of the iconic towns within a twenty kilometre radius.
The lovely old town of Bergerac is only twenty five kilometres away. We have horse riding, canoeing, wonderful walks all within a few minutes drive. Of course, further afield there's the Dordogne valley to explore from St Cyprien to La Roque Gageac and then up to Sarlat.
And then there are the markets (and the Gourmand Nocturne), the wine, the food... too much to talk about here!
Come and stay with us and discover this wonderful part of France.
